Chris Carmichael - Strategic Advisor
- Chris Carmichael is the founder and CEO of Carmichael Training Systems, Inc. (CTS) and personal coach to cancer survivor and seven-time Tour de France Champion Lance Armstrong. Named the US Olympic Committee's Coach of the Year in 1999, Chris formed CTS in 2000 after spending more than two decades in the sport of cycling.
- Through Chris's leadership and an unsurpassed education program that develops the highest-trained coaches in the industry, CTS immediately established itself as the premier destination for personal fitness, nutrition, and performance coaching and camps. Chris has authored five books, including the New York Times Bestseller, Chris Carmichael's Food for Fitness (2004), is a columnist for Bicycling Magazine, has created more than dozen training DVDs, and the broad appeal of his message has seen him featured in Time, Business 2.0, Inc., and Forbes Small Business.
- Back in 1984 Chris was US Olympic Team Member in Cycling and two years later a member of the first American team to race the Tour de France.
