- Prior to joining Inventages Walter was a Senior Strategy Consultant at the Boston Consulting Group and member of BCGs European Healthcare Practice Group. In this function Walter was involved in several large business transactions and in the evaluation of novel business models for big pharma and private equity.
- Before his career as a consultant, Walter had worked as a scientist in cell biology in Vienna and in the US at Harvard University with a focus on lipid metabolism and immunology.
- Walter holds a Master and a PhD in Science from the University of Vienna and has studied Business Administration at the Vienna University of Economics. He has published numerous articles in top scientifc journals and has received international awards and fellowships for his research.
